OVERVIEW
Ed Curnow's fourth year at Visy Park began well, with the key tagger proving himself as a solid contributor to the team.

The 24-year-old played in the opening five games of the season, until fracturing the fibula in his right leg during the Round 5 clash with the Western Bulldogs.

Curnow was subsequently sidelined for seven weeks.

Upon return the midfielder appeared in all 10 remaining rounds, averaging 20 disposals per game.

Blues supporters can look forward to seeing more of Curnow, as he readies for the pre-season campaign.

- Curnow speaking after Carlton's 23-point win over North Melbourne in Round 18.

THEY SAID IT
"He's done a great job in his career with that run-with player role. We're really happy with him."
