OVERVIEW
Recruited with Carlton's third round pick in last year's National Draft, Nick Holman impressed during his first year at Visy Park.

After proving himself as a consistent contributor for the Northern Blues, Holman made his senior debut for Carlton during their Round 22 clash against Port Adelaide.

As he continues to improve, Blues supporters can look forward to seeing more of the young midfielder in 2015.

HE SAID IT
"It was good to meet the fellas and get to know them a bit more. I've become pretty close with all the first year players, obviously we have a bit in common and we've played in the national championships together…I just want to play a few good VFL games and hopefully push for senior selection. But ultimately I just want to impress the coaches as best I can on the training track and go from there."

- Nick Holman speaking from Carlton's altitude training camp in Arizona, December 2013.

THEY SAID IT
"We have a thing at the club, like one percenters, which we call DI's. And he's been having an unbelievable amount of those in the last month – more than anyone in the AFL or the VFL team. He's building his game around one percenters and doing things for the team. Hopefully he gets rewarded off the back of those things."

- Bryce Gibbs speaking about Holman.

SEASON HIGHLIGHT
During the Northern Blues' Round 19 match against Port Melbourne, Holmon gathered 14 disposal and kicked a goal, whilst restricting the dangerous Chris Cain to just 12 of his own.
